Bei seinem 2. internationalen Wettkampf im Februar hat sich Niclas wieder gesteigert und gewinnt den stark besetzten Wettkampf „Hellmut Seibt Memorial“ in Wien.
Er erreicht persönliche Bestleistung von 100,53 Punkten. (Kategorie Nachwuchs)
Da er damit zum 2. Mal in dieser Saison die von der DEU vorgegebene Bundeskadernorm erfüllt hat, wird er in den Kreis der Bundeskader aufsteigen.
